Many of the mountains of New Mexico are remnants of volcanoes. One of the most interesting that I've visited was above Raton, called Capulin. You could actually walk down inside the crater. Fascinating landscape. I love it. ;^) I have to say that it never once crossed my mind to compare them to what you did! Hmmm...I see dirt...I see rocks...I see...volcanoes...anything else? Nope. ;^) (I rather prefer my boring perspective...not even a remote chance of drama that way.) ;^) ;^- ;^0
Of course, a man would see that right away! LOL.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Volcanic plugs? But how did the flat ones become so flat topped? They look fascinating in the landscape though.
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting mountains!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I presume that the two of you were looking at opposite sides of the road, right?
