Yipping

Before it even really got light this morning, I started to take Shasta out for her morning walkabout.  She, of course, pulling, raring to go suddenly slowed as we heard a large pack of coyotes yipping down the street from us.  It was still too dark to see them, but we could sense, in more ways than one, that they were nearby.
She slowly turned around and tip-toed back to the motorhome to wait for full light.

  3. Hmmm. Just read about the Coyote on Wiki. I've decided that I'd have done the same if I was walking with Shasta.

  4. When we were at the vet in Palm Springs, a man came in with his little dog that had been bit by a coyote right in front of him. He's lucky he got his dog back.
