The round thing in the middle was actually opening & closing. Is it a sea cucumber, or what?

Check out the size of these muscles compared to my sunglasses! What a cool find this was for us. Timing is everything, right?

ReplyDeleteOh, you are so lucky to be there. I've never been to Oregon, but I miss the California coast and the rocks covered with mussels and starfish everywhere. Though never so big as that one!
ReplyDeleteMy geography lessons are keeping pace with your exploring. I now know where Pacific City is and I've learned a bit more about the geography of Oregon. The more you travel the more I learn! Great sea-life shots by the way.
